The third conference will be hosted in Brazil by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal University of Campina Grande. It will take place in a hotel in the seaside town of João Pessoa. It will be chaired by Dilip Loundo and Alan Herbert. It will focus on the theme “The Concept of God in Underrepresented Religious Traditions,” which encompasses Indian traditions, but also African and Brazilian traditions. Selected papers presented at the conference will be published in a journal special issue on the same theme.
